As part of efforts to provide a better access to information on territorial election candidates, OpenNWT has launched a new website, nwtelection.ca. NWTElection.ca is a community-driven election website that includes plain language election information, candidate information including contact information, websites, social media accounts, and news tracking.

OpenNWT submitted the follow recommendations to the Standing Committee on Rules and Procedures for the Review of the 2015 General Election. The recommendations are intended to prompt conversation on electoral reform in the NWT. Electoral reform can improve voter engagement, make elections more accountable and open.
